Mount Pleasant Full Home Renovation
A 5,000 sqft, 5-bedroom home renovation in Mount Pleasant, Toronto, completed across six months. The client wanted to keep the prime location of an older home and turn it into a fully custom modern house, what the team described as one level before a new build. Homewrap handled design, permits, and construction in-house.

This was a near-full rebuild of an older home in Mount Pleasant. The client wanted to keep the location but get a completely new house, one level shy of a teardown. Across six months, Homewrap rebuilt the home from the inside out, working through every floor of the 5,000 sqft footprint. The scope included a full kitchen build-out, multiple bathrooms across the home's five bedrooms, basement underpinning to expand the lower level, structural work to support a reconfigured layout, and a complete exterior rebuild with new siding and windows.
Design was produced in-house by Homewrap, with drawings and permits coordinated in parallel with construction. The home was unoccupied throughout the build, which let the team move continuously across all floors without staging around a live household. Basement underpinning added usable lower-level space, and structural work upstairs supported the reconfigured layout. All four major permit streams (building, plumbing, electrical, and HVAC) were pulled and managed in-house.
