Built Different From the Start
Homewrap didn't start as a renovation company. We started with engineering degrees and years spent on commercial construction sites, managing large-scale projects where the margin for error was zero and the expectations were high.
When we moved into residential construction, we brought that same mindset with us. Proper documentation. Structured project management. Engineering-level planning on every job. It's not how most residential contractors operate, and that's exactly the point.
We saw an industry where homeowners were routinely handed vague quotes, left without updates for weeks, and expected to coordinate between separate designers, engineers, and builders on their own. We built Homewrap to be the opposite of that experience: one team that handles everything from design and permits through construction and finishing, with clear communication at every stage.
What We Do
Homewrap is a design-build general contractor serving Toronto and the Greater Toronto Area. We handle full home renovations, home additions and extensions, garden suites and laneway houses, kitchen and bathroom renovations, basement renovations and underpinning, landscaping and hardscaping, and custom new home construction.
We focus on projects where the scope is significant and the planning matters. Structural changes, permit requirements, multiple trades, and extended timelines are where our process makes the biggest difference. Whether it's a second-storey addition on a bungalow, a garden suite build in the backyard, or a complete home transformation, our team manages the full scope under one contract.

How We Work
Every project starts with a conversation. We visit your property, listen to what you want, and give you an honest assessment of what it's going to take. From there, we handle the design, the permits, and the construction, with a dedicated project lead who keeps you informed throughout the build.
We don't take on more projects than we can manage well. Every job gets our full attention, because a rushed or under-managed build is how problems happen. When you work with us, you know who's responsible for your project, and you can reach them directly.
We believe that a good renovation or build should feel organized from the homeowner's side. You should know what's happening, what's coming next, and what it's going to cost. If something changes, you hear about it immediately, not after the fact. That's the standard we hold ourselves to.

We're based in Toronto at 2005 Sheppard Ave E, and we serve homeowners across the Greater Toronto Area.
Our core service area includes Toronto (North York, Scarborough, Etobicoke, East York), Vaughan, Richmond Hill, Markham, Mississauga, Aurora, Newmarket, Oakville, Pickering, and surrounding communities.The best projects for us are the ones close to home, but we take on work across the full GTA when the scope and fit are right.
